Ten years ago Direct Cleaning Yorkshire Ltd started life as a one man operation cleaning carpets from the basement of a house in Huddersfield. The company now has 20 employees, operates from a 2,000 square feet, purpose-built unit, has 10 brand new vehicles on the road and has just been shortlisted for the prestigious 2009 Huddersfield Examiner Business Awards.
The Business Awards celebrate the success of local companies who are making a major contribution to the region despite these times of economic uncertainty and Direct Cleaning Yorkshire Ltd has been shortlisted for the SME (small and medium enterprise) of the Year Award. The awards ceremony will be held at the Galpharm Stadium in Huddersfield on November 12.
